Celebrate International Women’s Day with Phonics Stars™

International Women’s Day is a worldwide event that celebrates women’s achievements – from the political to the social – while calling for gender equality.  It has been observed since the early 1900s and is now recognised each year on March 8. It is not affiliated with aInternational-Womens-Day-logony one group, but brings together governments, women’s organisations, corporations and charities.

The day is marked around the world with arts performances, talks, rallies, networking events, conferences and marches.  Last year, there was a Google Doodle marking the celebration featuring women and girls across the world who complete the sentence ‘One day I will’, talking about their dreams and ambitions.

At Phonics Stars™ we celebrate International Women’s Day! That’s because we empower women and offer opportunities to make a difference to Children and Families.

All of our Class Leaders are proactive, hardworking and determined. They are passionate about Early Years Education and making a difference. To help them to succeed and be the best that they can be, we encourage, train, resource and support them in order to deliver fantastic classes across the UK. We provide opportunities for women to be successful whilst making a difference to Children and Families.

Our four beliefs underpin all that we do:

  • Learning through play:We believe that early learning through play creates an improved foundation for Pre-school Children to adapt to School life and to go on to achieve the confidence and qualifications required to achieve their potential.
  • The English Language:We believe that a fluent grasp of English, the language at the heart of international business, science, technology, sport, politics and media, is an invaluable life-long advantage.
  • Collaboration:We believe that as innovation and complex technologies increasingly underpin the economy, encouraging listening and attention, sharing and cooperation from an early age helps to develop collaborative behaviours.
  • Supporting parents and carers:We believe that Parents and Carers want to provide their Child with the best start in life. Parents and Carers gain the opportunity to develop their understanding of phonics in a fun, friendly and positive environment and support their Children’s learning and independence.
